Jhoana studied Ecotourism at university due to her love for nature, ecosystem protection, and travel. Over the years, she has worked in tourism, but when she started working for Camps many years ago, it seemed like the perfect combination of what she enjoys and what she would like to learn.
Jhoana began as an assistant, and over the years has gained experience in different areas. Now, with more responsibilities, she has the opportunity to travel and develop a close relationship with communities. This has allowed her to value what they have in the city, but even more to appreciate and learn about the ancestral richness of the communities - their customs and rituals - which is truly priceless.
She enjoys working with groups - the adrenaline that keeps her active and attentive to every detail, as well as providing them with the best life experience possible and creating a meaningful impact on their lives.
The challenges are significant, balancing work, travel, and caring for my two young daughters, but everything is worth each experience continues to enrich my life.
