Orme Summer School offers a distinctive combination of school and residential life opportunities.


  • 4 week concentrated program
  • Classes are offered each weekday for eight hours. 
    • English
    • Math
    • Spanish
    • Science
Dates and Rate:

For Credit Academic Classes:     June 27     July 13      $5983.00

  • Proctored study halls occur each evening.
  • After study hall our dorm parents organize and participate in:
    • Movie and pizza night in the lounge
    • Shooting hoops in the gym
    • Bowling in town
    • Town trips to the mall
  • On the weekends students participate in special campus activities or in trip and travel adventures:
    • Ride a float in the Prescott Frontier Days Parade and then go to the rodeo
    • Attend the Hopi Festival in Flagstaff at the Museum of Northern Arizona
    • Travel to Locket Meadow for group games and a picnic lunch

Orme Summer School provides an experiential, not for credit, English learning program
Dates and Rate:

For Credit Academic Classes:     June 27     July 13      $7083.00
  • 3 levels of English Instruction depending upon student need.
    • Beginning English learners practice listening and speaking as they improve their vocabulary and enhance their conversational skills.
    • Intermediate English learners study grammar and read both fiction and non fiction selections to build vocabulary.
    • Advanced English learners prepares advanced students for entrance requirements for non-native applicants to many English speaking colleges and Universities.
  • Proctored study halls enhance learning outcomes each evening.
  • After study hall our dorm parents organize and participate in:
      • Movie and pizza night in the lounge
      • Shooting hoops in the gym
      • Bowling in town
      • Town trips to the mall
Imagine the opportunity to practice English skills with native English speaking peers. Our weekend program offers just that while participating in exciting new learning adventures!

  • Tutoring: ($40.00 per tutoring period)
    • Daily Instructional Periods of 50 minutes each
    • Integrated into daily schedule - replacing recreational activity period(s)
    • Daily riding continues
    • Room for several other traditional camp activity choices.
    • Virtually any academic area
